Our process
At Askal Intérieurs, every project begins with a meaningful human connection. We prioritize a personalized approach and open communication from the very first meeting. By placing listening at the core of our process, we’re able to create solutions that align closely with your needs.
THE STEPS
We provide comprehensive project management to offer you a turnkey solution—where efficiency meets excellence, without compromise.
Whether during a meeting in our showroom or at your home, our methodical approach oversees every aspect. From renovations to new construction, we are here to understand and highlight what makes your project unique.
I.
Consultation
Whether you're starting from scratch or with plans already in hand, we adapt to your project. It all begins with a simple and friendly chat with one of our kitchen designers, either at your home or in our showroom, to define your needs and wishes.
What happens during the meeting
During our meeting, we'll take the time to discuss your ideas, needs, and tastes—while still allowing some room for more spontaneous discussions, because that's often where the best ideas emerge.
Prepare for your meeting
Bring photos of your current kitchen, your inspiration images, and anything else that appeals to you. The more we see, the better we can create something that truly reflects your style.
II.
Initial concept
This initial meeting provides you with a personalized overview of the solution best suited to your needs. It's also the perfect time to review all the important elements to effectively guide the next steps of the project.
During the meeting
Your kitchen designer will present an initial sketch of the space along with a budget summary. They will also present the choices of materials for cabinetry, countertops, and ceramics, as well as related product options such as handles and plumbing fixtures.
Ergonomics & Functionality First
At this stage, we focus on the functionality and ergonomics of the various work surfaces to design a space where every movement feels natural and efficient.
III.
Preliminary concept
After taking the necessary measurements, meeting with the contractor, and carefully examining the space to be renovated, your project starts to take shape. The concept, materials, fixtures, and fittings are meticulously refined down to the smallest detail. We bring your vision to life with full-color 3D renderings and detailed elevations.
During the meeting
This space invites you to delve into the project's intricacies, observe every detail closely, and understand the thoughtful and intentional choices made by your designer, both aesthetically and functionally.
IV.
Final concept
Before moving into production, we'll meet one last time to finalize the last details, confirm the next steps, and approve the required documents.
Your customized project file
At this moment, you’ll then receive a complete file containing the plans, technical specifications, maintenance guide, and warranties. This is when your project truly comes to life and moves beyond the page.
Project management
The contractor will receive the complete plans for the project, covering demolition, construction, lighting, plumbing, electrical work, and surface finishes, as required by the site.
V.
Production
Once the plans and schedules are approved, the project goes into production. The custom cabinetry is then manufactured, with an average lead time of six to eight weeks. Our team ensures that all necessary information is communicated thoroughly and accurately.
Demolition and other work
Because a well-prepared project is a successful project, our project manager works closely with the contractor. Their role: to anticipate technical challenges and transform constraints into solutions. By communicating regularly with the team onsite, they ensure that the room is ready to accommodate the new layout with complete peace of mind.
VI.
Installation
Installation is the stage where your project comes to life. Our experienced installers ensure precise adjustments to each component. From aligning the facades to fine-tuning the hardware, they verify every checkpoint to ensure the final installation meets our high standards.
Let’s talk about your future kitchen.
